I would add the kickass trail system to the long list of why the Des Moines area rocks. Our trail system gets better every year which is a crucial measurement in the health of a cities trails. Many places make random trails and then forget about them and they fall into an underused asset. Not here. There are some people dedicated to continuous improvement and that matters.
Ben- Thanks for joining in! I appreciate your opinion, and yes, the trail system here is amazing. We have a trail system right in our backyard and use it daily. Thanks again for your comment.
Amber – Thanks for the kudo’s. People are really starting to find out what a gem the city is and how easy it is to get around. It seems every week we see a nationwide stat that lists DSM in its top ten. Not to be cocky, but I rather enjoy the national spot light.
Pete..your site is GREAT! I have really learned so much about DeMo from your site…will send my clients there when they have questions. As for DeMo popping up on top 10 lists…we DESERVE to be there! This really is a great place to live!
