If you have been following the stimulus package that I blogged about yesterday, you may notice that things have already changed. 

Here’s what I’ve been hearing today:

• The tax credit is scaled down fro $15,000 to $8,000.
• This is a true tax credit and does not have to be repaid.
• This credit is for First Time Homebuyers only
• I’m getting mixed information about the dates. Some sources are saying the home must close between 1/1/09 and 8/31/09.
